Every business starts somewhere. Mine began in 1996, with nothing more than a wooden ladder, a bucket, the street I had grown up on as a kid and the belief that hard graft still matters. No fancy equipment. No CRM systems. No team. Just a young bloke knocking on doors and cleaning windows the way it had always been done.
Those early days taught me the foundations of this trade: reliability, pride, and doing the job properly. They also taught me how lonely the business can feel when you’re figuring everything out the long way around.
As the years moved on, the ladder got higher, the jobs got bigger, and the responsibility grew. Before long, that little one-man band found itself working on iconic sites across the UK — the kind of places you don’t forget.
I still remember working nights completing specialist cleaning 10 Downing Street, surrounded by polite-but-deadly-serious security teams, carefully working through chandeliers that have seen more history than most museums.
In 2011, it was the BT Tower in London a project that required planning, precision, and a stomach for heights.
Later, in 2022, I found myself at the Blavatnik School of Government in Jericho, Oxford, restoring glass and stone façades on one of the most recognisable buildings in the city. By then, the wooden ladder was long gone, replaced with proper equipment, accreditation, insurance, systems, and a team of trained specialists.
My approach is simple.
Practical advice, not theory. I'm not a trained coach or mentor, its all based on knowledge and experience.
Straightforward systems, not gimmicks.
Support from someone who’s been in the trenches.
And guidance built on experience, tradition, and a real understanding of how the trade works today.
